The Regent’s Schools have three schools:  Pattaya Campus (established in 1995), Bangkok Campus (in 2000), and Regent’s UK (in 2009).

The Pattaya and Bangkok Campuses are IB World Schools (www.ibo.org) and are fully accredited by CfBT (Britain’s Ofsted Inspectors) (www.cfbt.com). They are also members of both the Council of International Schools (CIS) (www.cois.org) and of the Federation of British International Schools in South East Asia (FOBISSEA) (www.fobissea.org) and are also recognised  by the Diplomatic Corps in Thailand for their children.

There are over 50 nationalities at both Regent’s Thailand’s campuses but over 85% of IB students (Years 12 and 13) are international (mostly Europeans). There are many scholarship programmes including Global Connect, Diplomatic and Ministerial Connect and bespoke for Music at both of our campuses.

Oxford, Cambridge, London School of Economics, Imperial College London, University College London, the Royal College of Music London, Stanford, MIT, Wharton (U of Penn), UC Berkeley, the National University of Singapore and Seoul National University are among the prestigious universities which have offered places to our recent graduates from both campuses (in some cases with full scholarships).

We believe the key to our success lies in the quality of our teaching staff and their commitment to being excellent role models for all students. All our main teachers possess Qualified Teacher Status (‘QTS’).  We place top priority on the recruitment of such teachers. Apart from foreign language teachers, all our teaching staff are native English speakers and nearly 90% are British.

The Regent’s Schools both offer full boarding facilities, with nearly half of over 200 full boarders from overseas. It is interesting to note that there are some  overseas boarders who are children of royalty and cabinet members of several countries.  All boarding houses are modern, secure, comfortable, and equipped with networked IT facilities. Our Early Years children are accommodated in purpose-built classrooms.  There is a professional and effective pastoral system with firm and fair discipline. The Regent’s Schools Thailand have a zero tolerance policy on inappropriate relationships, alcohol, smoking, drug possession, pornography and bullying physically, verbally or via cyber space.

The Regent’s School Thailand is a member of the prestigious Round Square Association, with its President, HM King Constantine and HRH Prince Andrew, Board Member, as patrons (www.roundsquare.org).  All 80 Round Square schools around the world believe it is their obligation to produce well rounded leaders for our future global community.  Round Square schools instill six values at the heart of what their students do, both within and beyond the classroom. These six values are known as the ‘Six Pillars’; taken in the 'right' order, their first letters memorably and appropriately spell out the acronym ‘IDEALS’, which stands respectively for International awareness, Democracy, Environmental responsibility, Adventure, Leadership and Service to others. Our sense of achievement as a School comes from translating these IDEALS into practical realities as part of required curriculum.

We have our fantastic IDEALS International Study Outdoor Centre on the island of Koh Chang near the Cambodia border.  All secondary students spend at least a week of their school year in this amazing open-air classroom to develop outdoor education skills, social skills and to serve children at local schools on the island.

The three campuses in brief:

1)    The Regent’s School Pattaya, established in 1995, is set in a beautiful rural setting approximately one hour from the new Airport and 15 kilometres before arriving in Pattaya City. There are currently 1000 students including 150 boarders of whom nearly half are from overseas.  More details at: www.pattaya.regents.ac.th

2)    The Regent’s School, Bangkok, opened in 2000. Secondary and the Boarding Houses are at the Cultural Center Campus, whilst  Early Years and Primary are currently accommodated at the  recently opened Rama 9 Campus in brand new spacious facilities. There are currently some 540 students at the Bangkok campus, including 50 boarders mainly from overseas.  More details at:

3)    A signing ceremony held on 21st April 2009 in Diss, Norfolk, UK, sealed an exciting new joint venture agreement between The Regent’s School Thailand and what has now become The Regent’s School UK (formerly Riddlesworth Hall Preparatory School), an established UK preparatory school since 1946. Regent’s UK enrols home and international students up to Year 9 (with boarding places available for boys and girls aged 7+).   More details at:
